Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to give the hormone progesterone to help prevent early labor in high-risk pregnant women. Researchers compared a weekly injection in the muscle to a daily suppository placed in the rectum. The goal was to see which method was more effective at helping women carry their babies longer and lead to healthier newborns.
