Could customizing radiation doses improve prostate cancer treatment?

Summary
This study tests whether giving a personalized dose of a radioactive drug (177Lu-PSMA-617) based on kidney radiation exposure is safer and allows higher doses than the standard fixed dose. About 60 men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy will receive up to 6 treatments. Researchers will monitor side effects and PSA levels to see if personalization improves outcomes.
