Summary
This study tests whether a daily probiotic supplement can reduce depression in people with Parkinson's disease. Sixty adults aged 40–80 with mild to moderate Parkinson's and depression will take either a multi-strain probiotic or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in mood using standard depression scales.
