Summary
This study looks at whether a probiotic called Saccharomyces boulardii can improve digestion, immune function, nutrition, and behavior in children aged 5 to 12 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who also have stomach issues. Researchers will compare the children's health during 4 months of taking the probiotic and 4 months without it. The goal is to see if this simple supplement can ease symptoms and improve quality of life.
