First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a probiotic (Clostridium butyricum) can improve the effectiveness of a combination of targeted therapy and immunotherapy for people with muscle-invasive bladder cancer who cannot receive standard chemotherapy. The goal is to preserve the bladder and avoid its removal. About 146 participants will receive either the probiotic plus the drug combination or the drug combination alone for one year, with regular check-ups to monitor for cancer recurrence or spread.
