First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily probiotic supplement can help people with bipolar depression stay well after a hospital stay. Researchers will compare the probiotic to a placebo in 80 adults to see if it reduces the chance of needing to go back to the hospital. The goal is to find a simple, low-risk way to improve long-term mood stability.
