Can a probiotic shorten Kids' diarrhea?
NCT ID NCT07342101
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a specific probiotic (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG) to standard care helps children with sudden infectious diarrhea get better faster. It will involve 480 children in Turkey, aged from 1 month to 10 years, who have had diarrhea for less than 2 days. Half will get the probiotic with standard care, and half will get standard care alone, to compare recovery times.
