Summary

This study tested whether taking a daily probiotic called Bifidobacterium longum CCFM1029 could help ease eczema in infants aged 3 months to 3 years. 100 children were split into two groups: one received the probiotic and the other a placebo for 3 months. Researchers tracked changes in eczema severity and gut bacteria to see if the probiotic improved symptoms.
