Special 'Good Bacteria' floss tested to fight gum disease bugs
NCT ID NCT07149493
Summary
This study tested a new type of dental floss woven with 'good bacteria' (probiotics) to see if it could reduce harmful germs linked to gum disease. Thirty-three men with generally healthy gums used both the probiotic floss and a regular floss for two weeks each. Researchers measured plaque, gum bleeding, and bacteria levels to compare the effects.
