Summary
This study tested a special dental floss containing probiotics (good bacteria) to see if it could reduce harmful mouth bacteria and improve gum health in 33 healthy men. Participants used the probiotic floss and a placebo floss for two weeks each, with a break in between. The results showed that the probiotic floss helped lower levels of certain bacteria linked to gum disease, suggesting it may be a useful tool for maintaining oral health.
