Magnetocardiography device may spot heart blockages without needles

NCT ID NCT06481943

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is testing a new bedside device called CardiAQ MCG that measures magnetic fields from the heart to detect reduced blood flow (ischemia). Researchers will compare the device's readings with standard angiography results in 150 people scheduled for heart catheterization. The goal is to see if the device can accurately identify blockages, not to provide a treatment.
