Brain scans may unlock better stroke rehab for veterans

Summary
This study looks at whether a brain scan can identify which stroke survivors with spatial neglect—a condition that makes it hard to notice or act on the left side—will benefit most from prism adaptation therapy. About 244 Veterans who had a right-brain stroke will be tested. The goal is to make rehabilitation more personal and effective, helping people regain independence in daily activities.
