Summary

This study tests a program called GBE (Ghya Bharaari Ekatra) to prevent intimate partner violence (IPV) in newly married couples. Researchers will enroll 1,700 couples living in slums in Mumbai and Pune, India, who have been married for one year or less. The program aims to reduce physical, sexual, and psychological abuse and improve mental health and reproductive choices.
