Summary
This study tests a program called PriCARE/CARIÑO that helps parents and children ages 18 months to 6 years build better relationships. The goal is to reduce child maltreatment, harsh parenting, and stress, while improving child behavior. About 1,900 parent-child pairs will take part, and researchers will track child protective services investigations and parent surveys over time.
