First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether sending WhatsApp messages that suggest combining a dental check-up with an existing medical appointment, along with price discounts, encourages people to schedule preventive dental care. Over 300,000 adults aged 18-70 who hadn't seen a dentist in 6 months were included. The goal was to see if these simple nudges increase preventive dental visits.
