New care bundle cuts skin injuries from medical tape in hospitalized kids

Summary
This study tested a set of simple steps called the SECURE Care Bundle to prevent skin injuries caused by medical tape used to hold central lines in place. Researchers compared 46 children who received this special care plan to 46 who got standard care. The goal was to see if the bundle reduced how many children got tape-related skin injuries and delayed when injuries happened.
