Personalized Post-Transplant therapy aims to stop cancer return

NCT ID NCT07572929

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving personalized maintenance therapy after a stem cell transplant can prevent cancer from coming back in people with certain blood cancers (like acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes). About 450 adults will be assigned to receive or not receive extra treatment based on whether tests find any remaining cancer cells after transplant. The goal is to see if this approach improves relapse-free survival at one year.
