Summary
This study tests a decision support tool called CAPP-FIT to help prevent pressure injuries (bedsores) in Veterans with spinal cord injury. Pressure injuries are common, painful, and costly for people with limited mobility and sensation. The tool includes a survey for Veterans and a report for their doctors, aiming to catch risks early and guide prevention. About 808 participants across seven VA clinics will take part to see if the tool reduces new pressure injuries and related hospital stays.
