New parenting coaching program aims to stop postpartum depression before it starts
NCT ID NCT03283254
Summary
This study tested whether teaching parenting skills to pregnant women at risk for depression could prevent postpartum depression. Researchers compared a coaching program that taught techniques to improve infant sleep and reduce crying to standard prenatal care. The goal was to see if helping mothers manage their baby's behavior early could reduce their risk of developing depression after birth.
