Summary
This study looked at whether three different levels of prevention can help older adults in cities avoid or reduce depression. 327 people aged 60 and older took part. They received either general health education, therapy to address risk factors, or more intensive therapy for those already showing signs of depression. The goal was to find the most effective way to prevent depression in this group.
