Smart monitor aims to stop dialysis danger in ICU patients
NCT ID NCT07179705
Summary
This study tests whether a special monitoring system can predict and prevent dangerous blood pressure drops during dialysis in intensive care patients. The system alerts doctors when a patient's blood pressure is likely to fall too low, allowing them to take action sooner. Researchers will compare this new approach to standard care in 46 critically ill patients receiving dialysis.
