Exercise trick may shield breast cancer patients from chemo nerve pain
NCT ID NCT04652609
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special exercise program, which includes gently restricting blood flow to the limbs, can prevent nerve damage caused by chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. About 25 women with HER2+ breast cancer who are about to start taxane-based chemo will either do these exercises or receive usual care. The goal is to see if the exercise group has fewer symptoms like numbness, tingling, or pain.
