Nurse-Led program aims to shield breast cancer patients from 'Chemo Brain'
NCT ID NCT05538000
Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized support program led by a nurse can help prevent thinking and memory problems that sometimes occur after chemotherapy. The program involves regular check-ins over 9 months with 50 women who have non-metastatic breast cancer and are starting chemotherapy. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical and if it helps patients maintain their cognitive function and quality of life.
