New antibody drugs aim to stop dangerous clots in hospital patients

NCT ID NCT06299111

Summary

This study is testing two experimental antibody drugs, REGN9933 and REGN7508, to see if they can prevent blood clots in adults who need a PICC line catheter placed for their medical care. The research will compare the drugs to a placebo to measure their effectiveness and safety. The main goal is to see if these drugs can reduce the risk of venous thromboembolism, a serious complication, after the catheter is inserted.
