Oxygen level showdown: could a slight change save preemie lungs?
NCT ID NCT07235345
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at 500 very premature babies (born before 32 weeks) who have breathing problems. They all get a standard lung treatment, but are split into two groups based on the oxygen level used: one with 30% oxygen and one with 25% oxygen. The goal is to see which oxygen level leads to better breathing outcomes, like less time on a breathing machine.
