Summary
This study tested a Turkish version of a checklist called the CALCULATE scale, which is designed to help nurses spot which intensive care unit (ICU) patients are most likely to develop painful bedsores. Researchers used the tool daily on 76 adult ICU patients to see if it was accurate and consistent. They compared its results to another commonly used assessment to see if it could reliably identify high-risk patients.
