Summary
This study tested a smart computer program designed to help nurses prevent and manage bedsores (pressure injuries) in hospitalized patients. Over 75,000 patients took part, and researchers compared how well nurses assessed and documented bedsores before and after using the program. The goal was to see if the technology could improve care and reduce the number of bedsores patients develop during their hospital stay.
