Summary
This study looked at whether a team-based geriatric assessment before hip or knee replacement surgery improves quality of life and lowers healthcare costs for older adults with multiple health problems. 157 people aged 65 and older took part. The goal was to see if this extra check-up helps patients recover better and use fewer health services.
