New program aims to help couples plan pregnancies, close health gaps
NCT ID NCT07214012
Summary
This study is testing a new education program for pregnant people and their partners to help them plan future pregnancies. The 'Planning Together' program involves four sessions to improve knowledge about birth control, communication between partners, and connection to community resources. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical and helpful for 60 couples from economically marginalized backgrounds, with the goal of preventing pregnancies that occur too close together, which can pose health risks.
