First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving a special fluid (colloid) before anesthesia can help keep blood pressure stable in people getting a new heart valve (TAVR). About 116 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either colloid or standard fluid. The goal is to see which fluid reduces dangerous blood pressure dips right after anesthesia starts.
