Ketamine or fentanyl? new study aims to find best pain relief for trauma patients in ambulances

Summary
This study tests whether ketamine or fentanyl works better for pain relief in people with serious injuries before they get to the hospital. About 994 adults with signs of shock and needing pain medicine will be randomly given one of the two drugs. The goal is to see which one improves survival and reduces side effects like low oxygen or low blood pressure.
