First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a prehabilitation program (exercises and support before transplant) can help adults aged 60 and older with multiple myeloma maintain physical function during stem cell transplant. Thirty participants will be randomly assigned to either the prehabilitation group or a control group. The main goal is to see if the program is feasible and acceptable, with secondary goals of measuring changes in physical function.
