First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a pre-surgery program of exercise and a dietary supplement called Ocoxin can improve recovery for 100 women undergoing surgery for gynecologic cancers like endometrial, ovarian, or cervical cancer. Participants will follow an enhanced recovery protocol (ERAS) plus the prehabilitation program. Researchers will track complications, hospital stay length, and quality of life to see if this approach helps patients heal faster and feel better.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Ocoxin (a dietary supplement with amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and plant extracts)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could show that a pre-surgery program of exercise and nutrition helps people recover faster and with fewer complications after gynecologic cancer surgery.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-phase study without a control group, so results may not be conclusive. The supplement's benefits are unproven, and individual results may vary.
