NCT ID NCT07465159

First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special program before surgery can help frail adults aged 70 and older recover better from hip or knee replacement. The program includes a health check, medication review, tailored exercises, and nutrition advice. About 50 participants will be split into two groups: one gets the program, the other gets standard care. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and improves recovery, such as reducing complications and speeding up return to daily activities.
