Researchers probe hidden breathing risk after High-Risk births
NCT ID NCT07443345
Summary
This study aims to find out how often women with severe preeclampsia develop weakness in their main breathing muscle (the diaphragm) after a cesarean delivery. Doctors will use ultrasound scans to measure diaphragm movement in 52 pregnant patients before and after surgery. The goal is to understand this specific risk better and identify which factors might make it more likely to happen.
