NCT ID NCT07107243
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a non-invasive test using a speaking valve and pressure measurement can accurately predict if the upper airway is open in people who have had a tracheostomy for a long time. Researchers will compare this test to a standard bronchoscopy in 300 participants. If successful, it could reduce the need for invasive procedures.
