Summary
This study looked at whether a screening test given when patients leave the intensive care unit (ICU) can predict if they will have psychological or physical problems three months later. Researchers followed 773 adults who had been in the ICU for at least 12 hours. They used questionnaires to check for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and physical disability, aiming to find early warning signs.
