Massive study aims to spot kidney trouble before it starts
NCT ID NCT07330453
Summary
This study aims to develop an early warning system to predict which patients might develop kidney problems after heart surgery. Researchers will follow 5,000 patients undergoing heart surgery, collecting blood and urine samples along with health data before and after their operations. The goal is to identify patterns that signal kidney injury risk early, allowing doctors to provide more personalized care and potentially prevent complications.
