First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a type of MRI called diffusion-weighted MRI can predict if head and neck cancer will return after chemoradiotherapy. Researchers followed 59 patients for up to a year after treatment. The goal was to see if early changes on the MRI could signal future tumor recurrence or progression.
