First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study will follow about 250 adults having a common kidney stone procedure called RIRS. Researchers want to find out which patients are more likely to develop a fever or a serious infection called sepsis after surgery. By looking at patient history, lab results, and surgery details, they hope to create a way to better predict and prevent these complications.
