First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study aimed to test whether a type of brain stimulation called intermittent theta burst stimulation could reduce symptoms in people with schizophrenia that didn't improve with medication. It planned to compare real stimulation to a placebo in about 40 adults aged 18-40. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
