High-Tech navigation aims to sharpen cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT05671458
Summary
This study is testing a new high-tech imaging system to help surgeons see tumors more clearly during head and neck cancer operations. The goal is to remove the cancer more precisely and then use that same detailed information to plan more targeted radiation therapy afterwards. Researchers will enroll 60 patients to see if this combined approach leads to better removal of the tumor and improved long-term control of the cancer.
