Zapping spreading tumors early may buy time for cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether giving precise radiation to tumors that have just started to grow can delay the cancer from getting worse. It involves 107 adults with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer or non-small cell lung cancer. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either standard care or standard care plus early radiation to the growing spots.
