First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether personalized nursing care helps people recover better after laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. 90 patients were split into two groups: one received standard care, the other got extra support like counseling before surgery, careful temperature control during surgery, and tailored recovery plans after. The goal was to see if this approach reduces anxiety, nausea, and hospital stay time.
