Sharper aim: new radiation technique seeks to zap lung cancer with fewer side effects

NCT ID NCT06542159

Summary

This study is testing if a more precise form of radiation therapy can control lung tumors while causing fewer breathing problems and other side effects. It will compare a new, adaptive radiation technique against the current standard in patients with early-stage lung cancer or a small number of lung metastases. The goal is to see if the new method is just as effective at shrinking tumors but safer for patients.
