Can a tailored lifestyle plan outsmart Obesity-Related health risks?
NCT ID NCT07742917
First seen Aug 03, 2026 · Last updated Aug 04, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial tests whether a personalized lifestyle medicine program can improve cardiometabolic health in Emirati adults aged 25-50 with obesity. Participants receive an 18-week program tailored to their individual health screening results, with follow-up over 24 weeks. The study compares them to a similar group receiving standard care to see if the personalized approach leads to greater improvements in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure.

- Active substance
- Precision Lifestyle Medicine Program (behavioral intervention)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could show that personalized lifestyle coaching based on individual health screening can meaningfully reduce risks for heart disease and type 2 diabetes in people with obesity.
- What could go wrong
- This is a relatively small, early-stage trial, and the program's success depends on participants sticking with lifestyle changes. Results may not apply to broader populations.
