First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether a short instructional video watched before minimally invasive gynecologic surgery helps patients feel more prepared, less anxious, and recover more smoothly. Fifty-seven women participated, with some watching the video and others receiving standard care. Researchers measured satisfaction, pain levels, and medication use after surgery to see if the video made a difference.
