First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how well and how safely the drug pradefovir mesylate works for people with chronic hepatitis B. About 400 adults aged 18 to 65 who meet treatment guidelines will take the drug, and researchers will check if the virus becomes undetectable. The goal is to control the infection, not cure it, so patients may need long-term management.
