Researchers dig into why autoimmune moms face dangerous bleeding after birth
NCT ID NCT06730919
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to understand why women with autoimmune diseases (like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis) have a high risk of serious bleeding after a C-section. Researchers analyzed 1000 past cases from five hospitals to identify which factors make bleeding more likely. The goal is to gather evidence that could help prevent this dangerous complication in future high-risk pregnancies.
