Summary
This study looked at how common postpartum depression is among 401 mothers visiting health clinics in Mekelle, Ethiopia, and what factors might increase their risk. Mothers completed a questionnaire about their mood, social support, and health. The goal is to help doctors and policymakers create better support for new mothers.
